Free Choice Library Class: How-to Video & Lesson Plan

Offering a “free-choice library” class is perfect for when you need quick and easy last-minute plan for a substitute, or when your library classes are modified or shortened due to school delays or special events. This video and lesson plan shows you how to set-up and implement it, and what you need to get started. 

Students check out books and choose an activity or center to do from a list of choices. While students are engaged in the activity choices, you can work on library management tasks while monitoring student behavior.
