This October Digital Bulletin Board gets students excited about autumn library events and activities!
Halloween is only briefly mentioned. The focus is October celebrations that often get overlooked, such as Thanksgiving in Canada, Sukkot, and National Pizza Month.
This product has 65 total slides & pages, and it includes:
- 51-slide presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint + Google Slides
- All body text is editable; you choose which slides you want to use.
- This presentation is for entertainment and communication. Students will learn a lot about October-related facts, but it is NOT meant to be a formal direct instruction library lesson.
- If automatic timings for each slide are set to 45 seconds each, the scrolling show will loop once every 32 minutes.
- Two (2) editable, differentiated scavenger hunts (3 pages, PowerPoint and PDF)
- Students “hunt” for images and information to answer 12 questions in the presentation. This gives students something to focus on during library checkout and downtime.
