Your students will learn about different bird species while formulating and answering research questions at this library center. Students can watch a real birdfeeder attached to a window in your library (if available), or access one of the live video feeds from the Cornell Lab Bird Cams.
This is the PRINTABLE version of the center designed to use with paper Research Notebooks that students complete and hand in for feedback and assessment.
Resource Requirements: You will need access to books, ebooks, and/or online websites about birds for students to complete their research. I have included space for both print books and online databases in the bibliography section of the Research Notebooks, but a collection of reliable websites would also suffice depending on your students’ needs and research skills level.
