Help students understand the routines and expectations to care for iPads, or any school device. Our students come to school with a great deal of technology experience, which means that we need to teach them the routines and our expectations for how to responsibly care for and use their school-issued devices.
This product has 21 total pages, and it includes:
- Standards based lesson to engage students in caring for school tablets.
- 7 colorful posters that outline the routines and expectations of caring for school iPads or devices.
- Lyrics to an iPad Care song to help young children learn and recall the expectations.
- Sorting Game – Students sort the behaviors into a YES or NO column to show what we do and don’t do to be responsible with iPads.
- Coloring Sheet – Students color in the iPad or device responsible behaviors.
- Cut & Paste – Students cut and paste the responsible behaviors onto the tablet image. They can then color it once it’s glued.
- Self-Correcting Digital Game – Play this in full screen and students get to choose which behavior takes care of tablets. They receive immediate feedback and get opportunities to try again.
- Digital Sorts – Students can sort device care behaviors in Seesaw or in a Google Slides activity. All they do is drag & drop!
