- Printable letters and graphics to create a display poster or anchor chart to use all year (7 pages);
- “Book Baby” song on illustrated pages to flip as your class sings to the tune of “If You’re Happy and You Know It” (10 pages, black and white & color versions);

The author, Cari White, uses these in her elementary school library to help students learn to be gentle with the library books they check out. She likes to be positive and encouraging as she teaches this library skill.
She uses this song and game as a review throughout the school year, too. Once you have them printed, you can easily remind students later on if they forget how to take care of their books.
