Frequently Asked Questions:
Why is it called an “action kit?”
This resource is more than just an eBook, or a set of templates. What you receive truly works as a kit, with information and prompts as well as templates you can edit and apply to your own school library program. It is content that is meant to be actionable and easy to use “right out of the box.”
Do I need a Canva Pro account?
No, in fact everything is designed to be used with the free version of Canva, however I would encourage you to create your free account and then apply for the educator account using your school email address. This will give you all the functionality of a Pro account without the cost!
Is it only for School Library Month (April in the U.S.)? What if I want to use this for general advocacy?
While this kit is specifically designed to be used during School Library Month, many of the ideas and templates could apply all year round and could be used over several months if you choose.
