Teach primary students what a researcher is and does before they become one. Our youngest students are incredibly curious and love to uncover answers to their questions. That’s why it is never too early to teach students how to be a researcher.
Classroom teachers frequently teach students what it means to be a scientist and how they can engage in scientific behaviors. This activity connects beautifully with that concept! It teaches children what it means to be a researcher and the behaviors that researchers engage in.
